Freed Guantanamo prisoners and their families' moving recollections of the men still held at the prison camp - 10 years on.

Absent Justice is a new television series which looks at case studies from around the world relating to human rights and civil liberties violations. Join Moazzam Begg as he speaks to some inspiring and courageous individuals as they recount their struggle for justice. This week, Moazzam discusses the 10 year Guantanamo anniversary with ex-Guantanamo detainee Sami al Hajj and Michael Ratner, a leading human rights and civil liberties lawyer. Every second Friday at 9pm, only on the Islam Channel (Sky channel 813).

Aviva Stahl speaks to Rachel Meeropol from the Center for Constitutional Rights about national security cases in the US. Her background as the youngest grandchild of Julius and Ethel Rosenburg has given her a unique insight into the current situation in the US.

Interview with Yassine Ferchichi

Yassine Ferchichi is a Tunisian national who fled persecution from his country of origin. He was arrested and sentenced in France on terrorism charges. His conviction was largely based on statements made by M’hamed Benyamina under torture in Algerian custody. In 2009, Yassine Ferchichi was deported to Senegal in opposition with a decision of the European Court of Human Rights. Since then, he has been living homeless without any legal document.
