Mr Hilmi's wife reports to Cageprisoners that it seems as though Samer's lawyer is allowed access to his client, but only once every ten days and that the lawyer was able to speak with Samer yesterday and has reported that Samer wishes to be returned to Jordanian custody. Samer's lawyer is optimistic about this possibility although his Jordanian family remain skeptical of the likelihood of any such transfer.
On a different note, Samer's wife attempted to leave for Pakistan on Saturday but was prohibited from leaving the country. She will attempt to secure legal assistance so that she may return to Pakistan.
